This year's midwinter workshops will be held in the following locations (by date and region): February 3rd, 2024: Red Deer Region - Our Lady of Peace (Innisfail) Please see the registration information for your region's workshop to the right. Here is the link to register for your region: https://forms.gle/iTG58D6BGgfGbMMZ8 Every region has a different link. Members may register individually or be registered as a group, but please provide the name of each member you are registering and indicate any dietary restrictions. Please also pay close attention to the registration deadline for your region. Also to the right is a 'project brag sheet'. Does your council have some neat projects you do on a regular basis? If so, we'd love to give your council the chance to share your ideas! Please fill out the information on the attached brag sheet and submit it electronically to Jean Ashdown (edmontoncwl.presidentelect@gmailcom) by the registration deadline for your region. In particular, please include a photo from the project and provide contact information if other councils would like to get in touch with your council to find out more details. Project submissions will be shared during the workshop "Sharing our Projects" afternoon session. |

Making CWL Aprons for fundraiser: (L) to (R) Alice Arie, Jo-Ann Sell, Dawn Woodbury, Judy Wahlstrom We have kept busy to make up for our lack of being able to have our yearly parish garage sale. We sewed 25 sewn aprons; some we sold to the members and we had some left over which were going to be sold at the convention, but with COVID, that did not happen. We will sell them if there is enough interest. Contact St. Stephens CWL for further information. |

Maple Leaf Service Awards and Service Awards, October 18, 2020 (L) to (R) MC Joanne Fewster, Florence Buckley, Maureen Gustafson, Diane Arbuckle, Joan Palardy, Donna Schuler, Kathy Kemmere. Background Theresa Coupal Due to covid many of our members were not able to attend. We presented a 25 year pin, two 50 year pins and 10 Maple Leaf service pins. The worthy recipients of the service pins had spent many ,many volunteer hours of dedication towards CWL projects as well as in the community of Olds & area. |
